Badly behaved tourists to be banned from Spanish resort

For the first time, a Spanish resort has passed a law that will allow hotels to turf drunk and disorderly holidaymakers out of their rooms.

The new by-law in Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava will mean that tourists who are fined for drinking in public, urinating in the streets or starting fights could now be evicted from their hotel and forced to find another place to stay. Officials said expulsion will be the ‘last resort’ but ultimately the hotel will get to decide. Read more:
