Avalanche kills one in Polish Tatras

One person has died and another is being treated for acute hypothermia following an avalanche in the western Tatras in Poland. Two other members of the group, who were all taking part in a caving course, were rescued unharmed. While there are no marked hiking trails in the area of the avalanche, it's permissible for alpine courses to operate there. Read more: thenews.pl
