Australian publican crowdfunds hotel renovations

An Australian publican at the Tatura Hotel in regional Victoria has turned to the internet to crowdfund renovations of his remote country pub.

The landlord Bugs Ryan has gathered locals to present a YouTube video appealing to American rapper and songwriter Kanye West to perform at the pub, with the alliterative slogan “Carn Kayne”.  Read more: theguardian.com
