Archaeologists find 1300-year-old ski in Norway

Archaeologists working in Oppland county in Norway have announced some of the treasures discovered in the mountains, including a ski thought to be around 1300 years old. Melting glaciers in the region mean that ancient objects are being uncovered more frequently than ever before, and the beautifully-preserved ski is thought to be one of the oldest ever found. Other items uncovered include a 6000-year-old arrow shaft and a 3400-year-old shoe. Read more:
