Alaska wildfire causes evacuations

A wildfire on the Kenai Peninsula is forcing residents to evacuate areas around Sterling, Alaska. The blaze, named the Card Street fire, has ballooned to 1200 acres and continues to grow. Firefighters are on the scene, but a mixture of dry grass and spruce fuels the inferno. Fire crews are also battling the wildfire from the air, using a helicopter with a bucket to fight hard to reach areas. Read more:
