Nursing mum offered pet relief area or bathroom by United

A woman flying on a United Airlines flight from Boston to Washington, DC was told she could pump breast milk for her four month old child in the bathroom.

Liz Meagher Cooper declined, citing the unsanitary nature of a bathroom. The United desk agent then suggested she could pump in the pet-relief area.  Dulles Airport does not have a dedicated space for nursing mothers, but say they are working to create them. United has said it will apologize to Ms. Cooper.  Read more at:
