Zapala’s Feria de la Tradición, held in the second week of November, showcases regional culture, with plenty of folk music, gaucho horse skill demonstrations, handicraft exhibits and regional food for sale.
A laid-back kind of place serving some of Zapala's best food (it's not much of a horse race, though). The menu doesn't stray far from meat, pizza and pasta, but they do it well, and with friendly service.
It’s likely half the town saunters in here for an espresso every day. Good coffee and sandwiches make it great for a light bite.
In front of the plaza, this center hosts concerts and shows recently released Hollywood blockbusters and work by local artists.
