Five companies run daily ferries from the dock (next to Hotel Angostura in La Villa) to the tip of Quetrihué Peninsula in Parque Nacional Los Arrayanes (around AR$495/650 one way/return, plus AR$250 national-park entrance). Departures are typically at 11am and 2:30pm. Purchase tickets at the dock before hiking out, to secure a space on the return. The ride takes around 45 minutes and you can put a bicycle on the boat.
Local buses cost AR$10 to go anywhere in town. Transportes 15 de Mayo runs hourly buses from the bus terminal to La Villa (15 minutes), up Av Siete Lagos to Lago Correntoso (15 minutes), and south down Av Arrayanes to Puerto Manzano on Lago Nahuel Huapi (15 minutes). From July through September, and December through March, 15 de Mayo runs six or seven daily buses to the ski resort at Cerro Bayo (AR$80, one hour).
Taxis (or your own wheels) are the best means of getting to the trailheads, although some are served by local buses. Taxis and buses leave from the Terminal de Omnibus Villa La Angostura on Av Siete Lagos, just north of Av Arrayanes.
