The reserve's visitor center, on the Mercedes side of the causeway, has a good exhibition on local wildlife (in Spanish) and an audiovisual presentation. The short path opposite gives you a sporting chance of seeing howler monkeys; and other paths and boardwalks introduce you to the area's different plants and habitats.
