The beautifully marshy land of this sprawling waterfront nature reserve is a popular site for weekend picnics, walks and bike rides (rental kiosks line the Costanera promenade). Bring binoculars if you’re a birder – over 300 bird species can be spotted. At the eastern shoreline of the reserve, you can sit on the rocky shore of the Río de la Plata.
