The Aquarium Mar del Plata is one of the most important marine parks in Argentina and it's located next to Punta Mogotes Lighthouse. It opened its doors in 1993 and at the end of 2006 it was acquired by the international group Parques Reunidos, which was in charge of its reopening in December of the same year. It has a splendid collection of penguins, fish, marine mammals and exotic and native birds.

Explore the aquarium’s interactive exhibits and learn more about the Aquarium's rehabilitation center. On this visit guests will be able to recognize the importance of the preservation of Biodiversity and learn more about the tasks of the Rehabilitation Center of Marine Fauna, from the moment in which an animal enters with health problems, until its release. Children and Adults will be able to raise their awareness about the most serious threats facing the marine fauna that are directly related to human action. In addition, guests will learn about the main distinctive features and biology of fish, reptiles, birds and mammals.
