Most of Tirana's best eating is in and around Blloku, a square of some 10 blocks of shops, restaurants, cafes and hotels situated west of Blvd Dëshmorët e Kombit, but there are other options elsewhere. Rr e Kavajës is particularly good for kebabs. The area known as the new market (Pazari i ri), where Rr Luigj Gurakuqi runs into Sheshi Avni Rustemi, has a growing number of good traditional restaurants.
