Tour description provided by Viator

Our goal for each and every of our excursions, is to promote and preserve the natural and cultural heritage of the communities. We employ local guides and travel together in groups of anything between 1 to 8 people. We don’t “do” popular tourist spots - our aim is to show you how the communities live, what we do and what can be done to protect the environment. We’ll take you to the Heart of the communities, where you can experience traditional dances, songs and gastronomy which is unique in every region of the country.Additionally, we also seek to reduce the negative impact on the environment by, for instance, returning the plastic waste to the big cities, where it can be taken care of adequately without impacting the environment. We also promote responsible tourism within the different communities and encourage them to be part of this endeavour. We want to generate awareness and change the community members’ and travelers’ consciousness.
