I wish to see Gt Zim ruins (an hour or two there is enough) and stay in the area (or Masvingo) for one night before returning to Bulawayo.
Reasonable accommodation preferred. Any advice on transport?

Hello. Thanks to heartful advice from Lonely Planet, I am planning my trip happily. Thank you very much XD

Are there some ways to go to Tanzania mainly from Harare, Bulawayo or Vic Falls(especially by train, if possible)? And, If I have to pass through Zambia, will the visa for Zambia be needed?

I"m traveling to Mana Pools in May 2017. I'm debating what camp to stay in - not self camp, but those offering lodging/food/game drives. Looking at Kavinga, Vundu, Kanga, Ruckamechi, Goliath, etc. Would appreciate info besides what I can read on Trip Advisor on these various camps. I'm not looking for the highest end nor the lowest. Thanks!
Paul

Hi Everyone,
I am a solo female traveler traveling alone to Zimbabwe and South Africa in April, and I'd appreciate your advices and tips on ground transportation in Zimbabwe.
The must for me in Zimbabwe are Victoria falls and Great Zimbabwe ruins. Harare and Bulawayo (Matobo & Khami) are options. My headache now is how to move from Bulawayo to Masvingo (more specifically from Gweru to Masvingo) by public transportation. I find train/ bus from VFA to Bulawayo, bus with good connection from Bulawayo…

Hi everyone. I'm planning a trip to Zimbabwe this summer. Zimbabwe is where I am really looking forward to visit.
I have relied on Lonely Planet guidebooks for several times and they worked. But this time what I only have is the 2004 version of Africa on a shoestring(10th edition). I agree that some of prices or information would have been changed but I think that the book would be still acceptable. Will it be all right to cling to this book?

Hi everyone! We are planning our trip around zimbabwe in august, and we need to go from bulawayo to chiredzi by public transport. We saw there is a train but it runs only once a week and the schedule doesn't fit our calendar, so we are looking at bus routes. The only option we found on internet is ZUPCO bus via masvingo. So we have some questions now:
1-are there also other companies which serves the bulawayo-chiredzi route?
2-are ZUPCO time tables reliable? (we have only 3 hours time in masvingo…

Hello friends,
I would like your help.

I will fly from Dar es Salaam to Victoria Falls in July, with a stop in Harare for 8 hours.

My flight arrives at harare international airport at 00:40 am.
At 09:40 am I have another flight to Victoria Skirts

I would like to sleep at Harare airport but I can not find information.

Does anyone know Harare airport? Is it possible to spend the night at the airport? It's safe?

I hope you can help me. Thank you

Does anyone have any experience on travelling from either Bulawayo or Harare to Maputo, or preferably Inhambane? Seems I can take a bus and connect in either Jo'burg or Pretoria, but not sure if there is a quicker way around without flying? Any help would be great!
