Lonely Planet review
Traditionally popular with young backpackers, when we visited it was being renovated. The courtyard, pool and bar are inviting, and other facilities include a restaurant (serving basic meals), laundry service, a communal kitchen and baggage store. Like many hostels in Southern Africa, however, it can be noisy, crowded and scruffy. On the other hand, it's a mine of information and a great spot to organise budget-priced tours. Singles/doubles should be reserved in advance.

Lusaka backpackers is your perfect pit stop in Lusaka!
To meet the changing requirements of the backpacking world we've noticed there are a few things that we could do to make things more upto date.. So, we have changed our male and female dorms into rooms with single beds, little less like a school and more comfortable we think. If you still want bunks we have them though don't worry. We are also now offering free internet to all our clients.
We are conveniently located right in the heart of things
close to restaurants, shopping areas and transport links.
Accommodation is clean and comfortable, you can chose between dorms or private rooms bed linen and towels are provided. Even better we are now have fans in all the rooms and are including a light continental breakfast in the price.
For those that want to cook we have a smart new self catering Kitchen that has just been refurbished
