    Mumbai!

    Two summers ago I studied at the Yemen Language Center in Sana for 10 weeks. A person can only eat so many kebabs and bowls of lentil soup...and I ate lots of it...too much of it. Some of my friends discovered Mumbai and whenever we were beaned and lambed out we would catch a "dubab" and head over for some welcome relief. Mumbai has both a lovely patio and interior. The waiters are helpful and speak both Arabic and English. Most of the other guests were wearing traditional Indian clothes and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. I had never had Indian food before. Since then I have continued to enjoy it at home in the states, but the dishes and meals I had at Mumbai remain some of the best ever.
