A Top Day in Victoria Falls

Perhaps the greatest appeal of travelling in the Victoria Falls area is that there's no shortage of adrenaline-pumping activities to fill your day. Sure, the falls themselves are one of the 'Seven Natural Wonders of the World', and should most definitely not be missed. But, my top day would start out with a morning bungee jump off Victoria Falls Bridge, which is a mere 111m above the Zambezi River. After I take a breather, I'd set out for a mid-day ultra-light (mechanised hang-glider) flight over the Victoria falls, which is by far the best vantage point for appreciating the size and scope of the cascade.

Assuming I had some cash left to burn, I'd take things down a notch with a late afternoon horseback ride through the Mosi-oa-Tunya Game Park in Zambia or the Zambezi National Park in Zimbabwe, which are both excellent and easily accessible wildlife preserves. By this point in the day, I would have long since satiated my adrenaline fix, so I'd probably spend the evening hours on a 'booze cruise' along the Zambezi. There's nothing quite like an ice cold Mosi lager, especially when you've spent the sweating underneath the tropical sun.
