The climate of southwest Wales is changeable - surprise, surprise! The good news is the coastal areas of the national park are generally drier than inland, but there is still plenty of rain from October to January.
Otherwise, winters are generally mild with average daily high temperatures between 8-10°C (46-50°F). Snow is seen only a couple of times a year and it doesn't last long on the ground.
Summers are dry but on the cool side, with winds blowing off the Bristol Channel and Irish Sea keeping average highs between 15-17°C (59-62°F) from June to August. Surfers are happy about the 30 days of gales during summer that bring good surfing conditions.
