The most pleasant time to visit is the dry season (December to March), but Coro has a relatively dry climate overall. The wettest months are September and October. Venezualans are mad about traveling during the Christmas period, Carnaval and Holy Week - transport is busy and hotels fill up at these times, so plan ahead.
Coro has a typical Caribbean climate - hot year-round with little variation in its average temperatures. Typically, the mercury hovers around 25°C (77°F) at night and a pleasant 31°C (88°F) during the day. A small amount of rain falls throughout the year, but the dry season is generally between January and April.
