Caracas enjoys a dry climate - unlike the rest of Venezuela, the wet season (June to October) is really of no concern here. Temperatures are mild and steady, averaging 25°C (75°F) year-round, and rainfall is usually no more than 100mm (4in). Venezuelans go on whirlwind visits to see friends and family at Christmas, Carnaval and Easter, when transport and accommodation can be at a premium.
The wet season in Venezuela falls between June and October, but Caracas is the happy exception: the city has a mostly dry climate. Temperatures are consistently mild, averaging a perfect 25°C (75°F) year-round, and rainfall, even in the wet season, is usually little more than 100mm (4in) each month.
