Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is 27km (17mi) northwest of downtown. You can take a taxi into town but the MCI Shuttle bus is cheaper.
Greyhound(12th and Troost Sts) sends buses daily to and from Omaha (4 hours), Chicago (13 hours), St Louis (5 hours) and other destinations. Amtrak is located just behind Union Station.
Getting Around
Metro buses run all over town. Taxis and hire cars are also available.
