Getting There

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is 18km (11mi) southwest of downtown and linked by the Regional Transit Authority Red Line train.

There are frequent buses from the downtown Greyhound station (1465 Chester Ave) to Pittsburgh, Chicago and New York.

The Amtrak station (200 Cleveland Memorial Shoreway) is just across from the Great Lakes Science Center and trains leave daily for Pittsburgh, Chicago and New York.

Getting Around

Parking is scarce and expensive downtown, especially during major events. Avis, Hertz and other rental agencies have offices at the airport and around town.

The Regional Transit Authority (RTA; 1240 W Sixth St) operates a decent bus and train system. The useful Waterfront Line train connects the Flats and other attractions to Tower City Center. Day passes are valid on any bus or train for 24hrs.

If you can't stomach public transport, Americabs will get you around.
