St Maarten is warm all year round, but the rainy season (June to October) can bring humidity and hurricanes. The island is a cruise ship magnet for most of the year, so there is not much of an off-season, but prices are highest during mid-December to mid-April. The best times to visit are November to early December and May to June.
Like most Caribbean islands, Sint Maartin has average daily highs between 28°C (83°F) in January and 30°C (86°F) in July and average lows that rarely dip below a comfy 22°C (72°F). February to April are the driest months and, apart from occasional hurricanes (accompanied by heat and humidity from July through October), rainfall for the rest of the year is relatively moderate.
