It's going to be an expensive trip as all travellers must be accompanied by two official guides at all times outisde of their hotels. Not counting transport to and from North Korea, you'll have to spend around US$100.00 a day if you're in a large group, to US$250.00 a day if you're travelling alone. Bring euros and Chinese yuan in small denominations (tourists do not use KPW, only euros and Yuan, and it's best not to bring dollars or any other currency). When you get your visa you are usually also given a currency declaration form and you must fill in another when you leave.
