There's no shortage of celebrations in Cabo San Lucas, especially if you're into sportfishing. The big angling event is Bisbee's Black & Blue Marlin Jackpot Tournament, which kicks off in late October. The lead up to this huge frenzy is the Gold Cup Sportfishing Tournament, usually held the week before and a big event in its own right. If you're still desperate to throw a line in the ocean, late November sees the Los Cabos Billfish Tournament snapping rods and tightening lines around the Cape Region. If you like your fun a little less fishy, the locals come out for parades and parties honouring the town's patron saint at the Festival of San Lucas on October 18. In the nearby town of Todos Santos, the two-day Festivale de Artes in late January is a showcase for the work of local artists.
