Introducing Sacramento
The state’s capital, Sacramento, is a city of politicians, lobbyists and a beefy governor with an odd, orange-hued tan who commutes from Los Angeles. The city has its share of stately government buildings, and long, tree-lined streets of Victorian homes. On the river’s edge, the original city, Old Sacramento, evokes simpler times of river boats and wooden sidewalks.
Sacramento’s better half is the city of regular people who enjoy a good time without the burden of putting on cosmopolitan airs. The Midtown club and restaurant scene is friendly, fun and attitude-free.
