The climate is typical of the Caribbean islands, with little variation throughout the year and average temperatures of 26°C (79°F) to 29°C (84°F). Humidity can be uncomfortably high and the islands get plenty of rain. The main wet season is from September to December, with a less rainy period from May to June. The tourist season peaks from late December to late January, during the Easter week and from mid-June to mid-July.
