The fruits of these founding fathers’ labor are now fully ripe and ready for the traveler to enjoy. The quiet, tree-lined streets, expansive parkland and a perfectly situated lake make this small city an oddity among the prairie that surrounds it. There are beautiful buildings here, such as the Provincial Legislature, a plethora of museums to choose from and more Mounties than a Monty Python sketch.
