Getting there & around
Beddgelert is served by the Snowdon Sherpa bus S4 from Caernarfon and the S97 from Porthmadog to Betws-y-Coed.
Beics Beddgelert (890434; www.beddgelertbikes.co.uk; adult/child per day £18/17), located 2 miles north on the A4085 and close to the entrance to the Beddgelert Forest Campsite, rents out mountain bikes, tandems and child seats.
