The former Gwynedd Museum & Art Gallery has moved into swankier premises, and taken the portmanteau word 'Storiel' (a cross between the Welsh words for 'story' and 'gallery'). Essentially a folk museum for Gwynedd county, it makes great use of the former Bishop's Palace, with exhibitions of local artefacts (including the Roman 'Segontium sword'), photography, art and more. There's also a cafe and shop.
