Getting there & around
The main connection through Bala is Arriva Cymru’s bus X94, which runs daily from Barmouth (40 minutes) to Wrexham (2½ hours) with seven daily services Monday to Saturday, and three Sunday, passing through Bala.
Roberts Cycles (520252; High St; per day £16), about 200m northeast of the White Lion Royal Hotel, rents out mountain bikes.
