Lonely Planet review
A leap up in comfort from most of Wales' hostels, Bala Backpackers has brightly painted dorms with a maximum of four single beds (it's a bunk-free zone), and a renovated kitchen and bathrooms. It does, however, have many more rules than your average hostel, including a midnight lockout.
Our independent authors have visited Bala Backpackers and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Bala (Y Bala).
