This Christian organisation works with 180 abandoned, disabled children in China.

Timing & Length of Placements

Two-week team placements depart four times per year. Long-term placements are available for periods of three months to five years.

Costs

There is a £32 registration fee for all placements. In addition, two-week team placements cost �600 for food, accommodation and in-country transport. International airfares are not included. Long-term volunteers must be self-funding.

Eligibility

Applications are welcome from Christians. The minimum age is 18, unless accompanied by an adult. There are no skills required for two-week team placements other than a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of the children. Long-term volunteers preferably have experience and training in nursing, medicine or special education, or in physiotherapy or occupational, music or art therapy.
