Australian Volunteers International (AVI) is Australia's oldest volunteer operation placing skilled volunteers on sustainable development projects. They run a Youth Programme for people aged 18 to 30 years.
Ten-week assignments with up to six departures a year.

Self-funding placements start from A$5000.
Volunteers must be aged between 18 and 30 years, be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold permanent resident status. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
