Quy Nhon, Tuy Hoa and Cam Ranh, near Nha Trang, have airports. The north–south rail route cuts through the region, as does Hwy 1A. Hwy 19 links the coast to Pleiku, just north of Quy Nhon, while Hwy 26 joins Ninh Hoa (north of Nha Trang) to Buon Ma Thuot, and Hwy 20 connects Phan Rang and Dalat.
