    “I wouldn't eat this Sh$%t!!! Quote from manager joe”

    This restaurant serves the worst food in Vietnam, not only are the dishes not traditionally prepared but the ingredients are not fresh and the concoctions coming out of the kitchen are very hard to swallow, prompting me to spit in my napkin. Of course any place can have a bad day, which is what I assumed initially so I called for the manager to get my order changed or canceled as I could not have eaten it without leading to aggressive vomiting. The manager his name is Joe was not only unhelpful but just plain rude, saying that I will be responsible for my bill even though the food delivered was not eatable, further more he informed me that and I quote he doesn't give a sh$%^t if I enjoy my meal. Since it looked like I will have to pay for this disgusting crap I told him that if I am paying I want him to sit down and be my guest and enjoy the 2 dishes I ordered on my dime, his response to that "I wouldn't eat this sh#$%t!!!"Stay away no clue how they have multiple locations in Nah trang but this incident happened at 18 biet thu Nhatrang.

    The food here is great and the setting is beautiful. Must try the black sticky rice with grilled mango, by far the best dessert in Vietnam...so good i asked for the recipe and have already bought the ingredients to attempt it myself!

    This place has great atmosphere and good food, however, they tried to rip us off 3 times in one sitting while paying the bill. Our bill was 201,000 vnd. We gave the waitress $20 US. She brought us back 89,000 vnd. That was the first rip off. When questioned, she said they paid 15,000 vnd per US dollar. Even at that, the math comes up 10,000 vnd short (I know it's pennies, but it's also principal). So, she gets us another 10,000 vnd and we tell her EVERYWHERE else pays a minimum of 18,000 vnd, some places pay 18,500 vnd. She goes and comes back with another 20,000 vnd, as they will now pay 16,000 vnd per dollar. In the end, one of us went to an ATM and got the vnd and paid with vnd and got our $20 US back. All in all, it made for a very poor experience. We have been travelling in Vietnam for several weeks now and this is the first place that has tried to rip us off. We won't be going back there.
