The accommodation scene is booming in Mui Ne, offering a great range of places to stay to suit all budgets. Mui Ne was traditionally the escape of choice for expats working in HCMC and affluent Vietnamese seeking to escape the big-city smoke, meaning that the smarter accommodation was often full during weekends and holidays. However, this is changing with the horrendous traffic on Highway 1A, as nobody wants to spend six hours each way crawling their way to the coast, so it is not always necessary to book ahead. However, if you are fixed on a particular place, it is probably wise to make a reservation.
Most of the places at the top end usually charge an extra 10% tax and 5% service.
