I have plan to travel to Vietnam for 6 days next month, I have send some request for some local travel agent in hanoi and I found that they suggest to go to Sapa by bus and by train? What do you recommend ? bus sound cheap , but how safe is it ? I hear there is a new high way NOI BAI_ CAO LAI . Give me your thought?
We will be in Hanoi this weekend and would love to see the Australian rules, AFL, live in a bar. Can you suggest where we may go.

Here's the live update. Sapa is a construction site, huge trucks hauling aggregates and reinforcing rod are only rivalled by the convoys of tour buses delivering selfie stick wielding hordes of Vietnamese tourists. Rubbish and construction waste fill the gullies , streams and streets. You can imagine how beautiful this place was 10 or more years ago but I am afraid it's lost.
The surrounds are still gorgeous but you have walk or motor bike a long way before power pylons and hilltop hotel…
