My fiancee and I will be travelling to Vietnam for the first time in late November 2016. We only have 16 days, so are trying to fit in as much as we can, without making the itinerary unrealistic. I would really appreciate some feedback on our itinerary as it stands, particularly is our time in Hanoi too short? if we were to leave something out, what should it be? Thanks for your help :)
28th Nov (Monday): Arrive Hanoi 16.10. Overnight in Hanoi
29th Nov: One night Halong bay tour (pre…
Hope you can help, I'm travelling to Thailand and Vietnam in April for three weeks and staying the last week in Vietnam arriving at Hanoi airport. Does anyone know if an e visa approval letter is required before getting there or is it just visa on arrival? I hold an Italian passport but travelling from UK and never been to Vietnam before. Thank you so much for your help in advance.
Traveling to Hanoi on Sunday for one week but I'm trying to make some last-minute plans now.
My gf booked a hotel in Hanoi from Sun to Wed which can't be cancelled. We plan on doing day trips with one of them to the Ninh Binh area. Any other day trips to recommend?
With our return flight scheduled for Sun afternoon, what can we do in the three days we have from Thu to Sat?Halong Bay is a definite on our list. We probably need half a day (four hours) to get over there. We plan to go directly to…
We are looking to hire a driver/guide or driver and guide for our trip to Vietnam leaving Canada on March 3. We will be landing in Ho Chi Minh. We traveled Vietnam last year and enjoyed our trip but it was an expensive package tour. Unfortunately the hotels that were booked were catering to a clientele that were not too friendly and outgoing and the trip was based around touristy sites.
This year we would like to save some money and look after our own itinerary and travel to some out of the way…

Hue (3 Days)
Hoi An (3 Days)
Nha Trang (5 Days)
Da Lat (3 Days)
Ho Chi Minh City (5 Days)
Sa Dec (4 Days)
Me and my girlfriend arrive in HCMC in march and leave from Hanoi two weeks later. We're looking for tips & inspiration on what to do and see.
WE WOULD LIKE TO DO:
> Trekking jungle or wonderful mountains
> Snorkle and to over-the-day tours alone with guide or party backpackers
> Eat and preferrably cook our way through the entire trip
> Include some visits to un-exploited villages or parts of cities; maybe on the country side.
We like to keep all tours/classes alone with guide or together with…

For people who want to explore Vietnamese scenic beauty, I highly recommend you to having a trip to Sapa. It is a very lovely hill station town in Northern Vietnam near the Chinese border. Culturally rich with different hill tribe minorities, lush mountain ranges, rice terraces, that is all things impressed me. You shouldn’t miss its prideful natural beauty spots such as Ham Rong Mountain, Silver Waterfall, Bamboo Forest and Ta Phin Cave. Especially, you shouldn’t miss trekking the Fansipan…
