In the city of tailors
Blog: Drifting Aimless - 21 March 2011
I take the early morning bus to Hoi An, a city famed for its tailoring industry. Having been fitted for a nice cashmere suit I became dimly aware and somewhat troubled by the fact that it would almost certainly not fit me once I returned from traveling. Blog: Drifting Aimless - 2 January 2011
Finally I reached breaking point, the absurdity of the situation had become intolerable, I cracked first. “Ok, so what part of Ireland are you from then?” I had been talking to two Irish girls on the deck of the boat for the past ten minutes without either of us mentioning the big green elephant in [...]

Sailing the Dragon Bay
Blog: Drifting Aimless - 26 December 2010
20th Nov “So…… did you watch the footie last night?”, it was phrase dropped in conversation with all the effect of some casually tossed hand-grenade.
