we are going to Sapa region this weekend. Our plan is to arrive to Lao Cai on Sunday morning using overnight train, to visit Bac Ha market and Monday and Tuesday spend on trek in nature and visit local villages.
Is there any regular/local bus from Lao Cai to Bac Ha on Sunday morning, or do we need to book some guided trip? Information are different, some local guide informed us, there is no bus from Lao Cai to Bac Ha, but on different websitest I found a bus leaving Lao Cai between 6:00…
Me and my sister are travelling through SE Asia next year and stopping off at Vietnam for 2 weeks. We are looking at making Ho Chi Minh & Hanoi our main bases.

I am planning my trip to Vietnam in the middle of July, and I found contradictory information on the bus from from Danang to Phong Nha. As the website of Easy Tiger Hostel states, there is a local bus from Danang at 1 p.m. (the company called Bao Vuong I think), and I found this bus on other sites as well (somewhere they say it's a minibus), but the website of Oxalis Adventure Tours says there is no reliable bus connection between the 2 towns.

I have been to SEA 3 times in the last 10 or so years. I was a single mum traveller then with kids in toe. I only ever pre booked if I was coming to a new place in the evening and I never had trouble finding something the next day or extending our stay if I liked our guesthouse.
