    Kh’leang Pagoda

    Except for the rather garish paint job, this pagoda could have been transported straight from Cambodia. Originally built from bamboo in 1533, it had a complete rebuild in 1905 (this time using concrete). There are seven religious festivals held here every year, drawing people from outlying areas of the province.

    Khmer Museum

    This museum is dedicated to the history and culture of Vietnam’s Khmer minority. It doubles as a sort of cultural centre, and traditional dance and music shows are periodically staged here for larger groups.

  3. Chua Dat Set

    Buu Son Tu (Precious Mountain Temple) was founded over 200 years ago by a Chinese family named Ngo. Today the temple is better known as Chua Dat Set, or Clay Pagoda.

    Located opposite the Hung Vuong Hotel, this is one of the best restaurants in town. Hung is a huge eating space with delicious grilled meat and fish and is perpetually busy.

    The Hang Ky is a reliable stop for a selection of traditional dishes and is set in a large, airy space that sometimes plays host to wedding parties.
