    It's true. This is the best day spa in Vietnam.

    Spa Tropic was top of my list for places to visit in HCMC after my friends had told me about their experiences here. It doesn't disappoint. Set in an amazingly well restored French villa filled with period furniture I felt relaxed before I got anywhere near my therapy room. I was greeted by the charming American/Vietnamese owner and the remainder of my day (yes, I spent the entire day there, including a lunch in the courtyard which they provided for me) wafted by in a scented haze. Yes, the prices are towards the high end of the Vietnamese spa market, but the services are simply divine and worth every dollar (or dong). I haven't had better and, trust me, I've been in spas the world over. If you like spa to be stylish, this is the place to come. Ask for the garden room, the steam and outdoor shower feel SO GOOD in the heat of HCMC!!!!! Spa Tropic is my favourite place in Vietnam, I wish I could take it home :-)

    nice way to spend an afternoon

    As noted by the previous review - Spa Tropic is at a new location. The spa is located not too far out of town but in a residential area - so it's actually more peaceful and it's good to get away from the tourist traps in the city center. I really like the fact that it's in a French villa - it was cozy like visiting someone's home. The massage and facial was excellent. The prices are higher than the local spas and massage places - but I think - considering the better quality - it's worth paying for.

    Best massage in Ho Chi Minh City

    It was such a nice treat to have a pampering experience at the end of my travels. Having tried different massage and spas at different cities throughout Vietnam, I was so relieved to find a professional spa that gave me the best massage without any of the hassles I got at other places. Another perk is that the spa is in a gorgeous renovated French Villa so I really felt like I had a pampering experience. If I had more time, I would have tried one of their packages.
