For a taste (and then some) of Brazil, head to Au Lac. Decked out with Carnaval-themed paintings, this churrascaria (barbecue restaurant) serves all-you-can-eat steak (and 11 other cuts of meat), just like back in Rio. Plus a new à la carte menu.

    As with all South American restaurants of this genre, go there only if you are very hungry. A very nice restaurant with colorful art on the walls and a most attentive wait staff. But, you don't go there for the art, do you? And the meat does not fail you. From the sirloin and shoulder beef cuts, to the most succulent lamb I have enjoyed in years, this is the place. A never ending parade of servers with salad, vegetables, and meats offers variety and pleasure. And the meat... This one differs and most, though, in that the price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Enjoy....
