Fancy that street-food experience, but afraid to take the plunge? Head to this incredibly busy, popular place that’s rammed with locals and a smattering of expats. Minikitchens turn out terrific food, including specialities from all over the nation like squid with lemongrass and chilli or chao tom (grilled sugar cane rolled in spiced shrimp paste). Be prepared to wait for a table.

    Nothing was good here.

    There was nothing that was good here. Everything tasted wrong, from the pho to the cha ca.

    This is not the original Quan An Ngon although the new owner has been trying to shout it out. Everybody knows it and it is easily noticed with the change of the logo and the font of the name.

    The original Quan An Ngon has changed its name and moved to the new location as:
    Nha hang Ngon (Ngon Restaurant)
