This unassuming spot has been known to overcharge foreigners, though the excellent seafood is still very reasonable by non-Hanoi standards. The gripe may be that the atmosphere is still very much of the Hanoi street variety. If you can live with that, round up some friends and order huge platters of fried squid and some of the city's best French fries.

    Ripped off and food is not good anymore.

    kenteoh80 does not recommend this,

    I work in Hanoi and come here once in a while for the great seafood and reasonable prices. However, I noticed that the prices have increased significantly recently while the food standard has gone down the drain.

    Furthermore, when I went today, even though I went with a local, they blatantly overcharged us by giving us much bigger portions than we ordered. There were only 2 of us, but they gave us 1kg of clams, half a kilo of squid and a huge portion of noodles. We barely managed to finish half of it.

    On top of that, the clams as well as the seafood used in the noodles were not fresh at all.
