Right in the heart of the budget strip, this little guesthouse is a great breakfast option, serving delicious French-style pastries and bread. More expansive meals featuring Hué specialities are also on offer.

    Quality room, food and services at a reasonable price!!!!

    I think it is a sabotage by soneone who works or used to work for Dung Truong. Dung Truong is the owner of Hung Vuong Inn, and he would not send you those rude emails. Would an owner of a restaurant send rude emails to a potential customer? I would not do it.

    Travelers, go to Tripadvisor to find many Hung Vuong Inn positive reviews. If you are in Hue, stop by HV Inn and have a look. If it looks clean and price is reasonable you may want to give it a try. If you like it, would you tell Dung Truong that Bi from San Francisco recommends this place to you.

    Hung Vuong Inn is a small establishment and operated by a family.

    Insulting and rude

    diogenes1 does not recommend this,

    I was recommended by some people via CouchSurfer to consider this hotel.
    I sent the hotel a perfectly polite email inquiring about their hotel and I got back the following reply: ''You are stupid. Go Away.'' Sent by Dung Truong. 5/3/09
    If this is any indication of the rudeness and poor attitude of the hotel - I would tell people to absolutely avoid such a place. Who needs any such nightmare experience and ugly karma?
    I know this is not representative of the wonderful VN culture and people. Many other hotels graciously replied to my email and I am looking forward to my stay in Hue.
    I would say they need a serious attitude adjustment when it comes to service, manners and etiquette. Obviously very poor training and motivation. Absolutely no class.
    My recommendation is to avoid at all cost!!!
    Too many ''polite'' options available.
    This individual definitely needs to be fired and if he is the owner - I doubt they will be in business long treating people in such a manner.
    His second email can not even be quoted due to all the vulgar words used with references to my mother and pigs.
    Avoid, avoid, avoid...
