This is the kind of comfortable hole-in-the-wall joint where the walls are covered in customers’ drunken scribbles. There’s a busy pool table in the back and a Western food menu.

    The place to be to meet other expats and backpackers

    Bamboo 2 is is very popular to travelers. There beer is always cold, although a bit expensive for Vietnam (25.000 for tiger).

    They offer some fast food as well. The sandwiches (baguettes) are good to have, as well as some snacks like spring rolls. The pizza are not so good however. If you want to eat something here after 9 pm, be prepared to wait a long time for your food.

    The owner also offers motorbike rental, but she does not have to many off them. So you will have to be lucky. Prices are good.

    The atmosphere is really relaxed, the music is a little bit of everything. Some costumers take the liberty to select there choice of music on the laptop located on the bar.
