Not far from the beach is this perennial favorite, run by a friendly and voluble Irishman and his Venezuelan wife. There are 10 colorful and attractive rooms (those upstairs have fantastic views toward the sunset from outside on the balcony), plus a good hangout area with tables, sofas, hammocks and a popular bar. It serves breakfast, does tours and is a great place to meet other travelers.
