    Amazing. Breathtaking. A sight you will never forget. I went there with no ideas of what I would see (OK - I never heard of it before my visit) but I went and came away enthralled.

    Sitting magnificently on top of a hill, the church is a work of art. Large, beautiful and inspiring inside, don't forget to go outside and treat yourself to two important things: the view (it is high atop a hill and you will see one of the most spectacular views of France ever) and go to the top of the tower. Now, be prepared to pay for the trip and then climb a long, narrow, quite harrowing staircase. But it is worth it. The view (the top of the Sacre Coeurs tower is the second tallest in Paris) is magnificent. No one who ever looks across will forget it. I promise.
